Die Grammys gehören zu den wichtigsten Preisen der Musikindustrie. Welche Bands, Künstlerinnen und Künstler triumphierten und was Taylor Swift besonderes schaffte.

Bei der 66. Verleihung hat Taylor Swift in Los Angeles den Grammy für das beste Album des Jahres gewonnen. Mit "Midnights" gewann die 34-Jährige in der Hauptkategorie nach den Auszeichnungen für "Fearless", "1989" und "Folklore" zum vierten Mal und schrieb Geschichte. Sie ließ damit Paul Simon, Frank Sinatra und Stevie Wonder hinter sich, die je dreimal in der Kategorie ausgezeichnet wurden.

Neben den drei Hauptkategorien wurden die Preise in einzelnen Musikrichtungen vergeben, wie zum Beispiel Pop, Rock, Metal, Klassik, Reggae, Latin, R&B oder Alternative.
